Served as sole member of the foundations fundraising program for ICTJ, which provides expert assistance to countries in Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia that are emerging from dictatorships, armed conflicts, or mass human rights abuses. ICTJ helps governments and civil society and victims to address the past and find a better way forward through truth commissions, reparations, criminal justice reform, memorialization, and other measures. I directed all aspects of the foundations fundraising effort, including creating a strategy for each donor to increase funding; writing all proposals, reports, and letters of inquiry; maintaining and strengthening relationships with donors; identifying and engaging prospective donors; and working with finance to prepare budgets and monitor expenditures.I also worked closely with the communications team to build awareness of ICTJ's mission and accomplishments, create organization-wide branding and messaging, and ensure that all reports, briefing papers, and online content had a strong and consistent message, look, and style.

Created communications strategies for major individual and foundation donors that engaged, informed, and inspired new and long-term partners to continue and increase their support. Wrote appeal letters, grant proposals, eblasts, newsletters, and other pieces, all coordinated to provide a clear and compelling picture of why what Planned Parenthood does matters, and why support is vital.

Led YAI's institutional giving program. Established and strengthened relationships with foundation and corporate supporters, and raised institutional support for YAI's important work.
