• Provide full support as the Payroll Manager by processing manual timesheets for weekly payroll on Vessels, Yard and Rail employees using the PMA system for Los Angeles, Oakland and Jacksonville.• Complete Increases/Decreases, Guarantee’s and adjustments as well as all Payroll Compliance.• Record and provide container moves for all Vessel, Rail and Yard using CALO and AS400 system.• Review, process and Commit Vessel Reports using OASYS system to Port of LA and clients such as Yang Ming, ONE, APL, Hapag Lloyd and others during closing of payroll.• Process Management Reports for Jacksonville, Oakland and Los Angeles.• Remit “estimated’ and “final” payment funding for Jacksonville, Oakland and Los Angeles.

Provide HR support for this organization which provides public transportation solutions for public agencies. 11 locations in 4 states. Support Vice President of Human Resources, Director of Employee and Labor Relations, and Recruiting Manager. Fill in as Confidential Executive Assistant when needed. Process new hires, separations, screen employee relations calls, employee benefits administration and open enrollment support.• Provide key support to VP of HR for contract start-ups, most recently in Greensboro, NC (300 employees); Reno (250 employees); and Pomona, Ca (350 employees). Support included application review, pre-employment screening, set-up HR department at location, mass on-boarding events, all with a focus on outstanding employee relations.• Partner with Payroll Manager to ensure that new hires during mass-onboarding sessions are entered accurately and timely.• Served as Acting Employee Benefits Manager for five months until a new Manager could be retained.• Served as Acting Executive Assistant for 3 weeks until a new AE could be retained.• Assisted the General Manager in the Van Nuys location for 5 days with Keolife by collecting clothing, canned goods, and toiletries for MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) nonprofit organization. Provided Support to HR Manager in Fort Lauderdale location for 21 employee transition from MyCity to Keolis.
