I write poetry, . And one day I would love to own my own business, just not sure what kind of business yet.I have a background working with people where I have spent years improving my communication and interpersonal skills. I realized that my personality is a great fit for sales, so I have spent the last three months going through an intensive online course in technology sales development. I have read books like How to Win Friends and Influence People, Fanatical Prospecting, and SPIN Selling. I have also learned skills like researching new prospects, cold outreach (Email, Phone, LinkedIn), and running a discovery call using SPIN and BANT.I am currently looking to get started from the ground up in a sales development internship where I can apply the skills I have spent the last few months learning and practicing. I can be a real asset to your sales development team by assisting SDRs with the entire research function or I can get on the phone and start prospecting.What lead me to the Sales Development Rep Field is I have spent year dealing with customers face-to-face, I have my own cleaning business and with that I answer phone calls, so I have had practice with talking to strangers and investigating what their concerns are and what they would like my company to do for them. I feel that I have a good grasp on cold calls, and I believe I could do very well in this field.
