As an MSW intern at ONEgeneration Senior Center, I am a part of an innovative mental health program aimed at enhancing the well-being of seniors in the San Fernando Valley. My role involves the development, evaluation, and enhancement of this new program.Program Development: I am actively contributing to the creation and evolution of the newly established mental health program. This includes developing systems and processes for recruitment, tracking, and building capacity to serve as many seniors as possible. It also had the development of a comprehensive curriculum that meets the unique needs of our senior participants. Evaluation Expertise: I am currently working with the clinician in assessing the clinical value of current support and peer-led groups within our organization. Through rigorous evaluation, we are working to identify areas of improvement and ensure that our programs provide the highest quality care to our seniors.Collaborative Approach: Working closely with a dedicated team, I am committed to making a positive impact on the mental health and overall well-being of the senior community we serve.
