I began my work as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor CADC II in 1996. I tranitioned into Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been able to specialize in working with Co-Occurring Disorders. The family is very important in order for the individuals success. Substance abuse and Mental Health treatment assist the individual in identifying and learning how to cope with their Co-Occurring Disorder along with their families in their healing process. I also feel that further research and working with further testing tools in the Ph.D program are where I see myself in the furture.
