Answer heavy phone volume, schedule office and procedure appointments, check Healthenet for insurance referrals on all patients for upcoming appointments, chart prep for office visits, ordered labs, and other tests into EMR, room patients, urine dips, blood draws, take vitals, update pt information into EMR, log all updated information into computer at time of visit on medications, surgeries, and procedures. EKGS, Post residual checks on patient, assist physician in small office procedures, set up Holter monitors on patients, fulfilled all labs ordered by doctors in group by venipuncture, collection of urine, throat cx swabs, centrifuged blood specimens, as required to prepare for testing.
