About Norma Thibodeau
My first few years of work experience were dedicated to working with children/youth, first as an educator, then as a coach in various sports. I then transitioned to working as a counselor at a residential treatment home for teenage girls.As a military wife I found myself in a different role, one of support for other military wives. Then, as the wife of a Veteran I was forced into the position of advocate. Advocating for my husband's medical and psychological needs. Which led me to Mental Health First Aid where I know educate others on Mental Health and how to recognize the signs and symptoms.
