Serving as the primary liaison between ATHN and CDC for the Community Counts project. Supervising and directing the work of ATHN Community Counts project staff, consultants, interns, and students. Leading project planning, plus the refinement, execution, and review of processes, in collaboration with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Project Officers, I augment relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including governmental partners. Auditing work processes and uncovering opportunities for positive change, I then determine best practices and implement new protocols across the network. Planning and implementing Data Quality Counts (DQC) and Care through ATHNdataset Research and Evidence (CARE) grants, I liaise with the CDC Project Officer and chair a Peer Review Committee, charged with the review and optimization of access to, and publishing of, project data. I head the leadership of 10 regions, ensuring the fulfilment of the cooperative agreement's deliverables, including data quality initiatives, across a nationwide network over 140 treatment centers. Cutting peer review times from several months to less than 6 weeks with the standardization of the review process, I also coordinated the execution of the Community Counts project Federal award. I expedited email data request wait times for reviewers and researchers by 70% with the digitization of the process and oversee the apportioning of the annual DQC awards, with approximately 47 recipients.
