Director, Community Counts Surveillance Project
CurrentServing as the primary liaison between ATHN and CDC for the Community Counts project. Supervising and directing the work of ATHN Community Counts project staff, consultants, interns, and students. Developing and submitting ATHN’s annual Community Counts cooperative agreement grant submission to the CDC. Conducting the activities required to ensure execution and monitoring of regional subgrantees contracts in compliance with federal regulations. Providing fiscal and programmatic management of the Community Counts project and the CDC cooperative agreement. Developing, managing, and evolving the project work plan to ensure outcome measures and process measures are achieved in adherence with the plan. Developing and managing project related health promotion and dissemination activities including but not limited to publications, social media, and other methods of communication and outreach. Developing and managing project related evaluation activities. Working with CDC and other ATHN staff to further identify areas for improvement in data quality and project execution. Providing guidance to ATHN support team related to Community Counts project specific questions and issues that are brought forward. Building and sustaining collaborative relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Coordinating special projects in support of strategic initiatives and partnerships Overseeing the development of tools and materials designed to support the regional networks and participating treatment centers in the successful implementation of the Community Counts project.
