Promoted in year two of my tenure to manage EveryoneOn’s digital platform and manage multiple national level partnerships to increase broadband adoption amongst low-income households. I was also managed multiple national-level partnerships with Internet Service Providers and device providers and led efforts to onboard their products onto our platform, and designed marketing and outreach strategies to promote said products.

Established EveryoneOn’s first regional office where I fostered relationships with diverse public and nonprofit organizations, such as the City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Unified School District, and developed outreach strategies that resulted in connecting more than 2,000 households to affordable home internet service.

Engaged and fostered partnerships with public agencies, business associations and small business stakeholders to facilitate access to LAUSD’s construction bidding and procurement opportunities. Strategized efforts to increase competitiveness of small business enterprises on District construction and modernization projects.Developed and employed strategies for the successful implementation of We Build, a construction pre-apprentice training program for LAUSD residents. Coordinated efforts with local unions, construction contractors and job coordinators to identify job placement opportunities on public infrastructure projects, including LAUSD projects, for We Build graduates.

Directed the operations of the Byzantine Latino Quarter Business Improvement District (BLQ BID) in Los Angeles, consisting of 194 commercial properties and over 400 small businesses. Coordinated street maintenance and beautification efforts, implemented a marketing campaign and oversaw community and public affairs to improve the economic and social well- being of the bustling business corridor. Established partnerships with local government leaders, economic development agencies and community organizations to increase access to business development resources for stakeholders and implement workshops.

Implemented neighborhood revitalization projects in communities throughout Los Angeles that improved the built environment and stimulated local economic revitalization. Projects included transportation and pedestrian corridor improvements, business district revitalization and urban greening. Responsible for engaging diverse stakeholders, facilitating community planning processes to design neighborhood improvements and building strategic partnerships with government leaders and municipal departments to garner support for projects and expedite reviews and approvals. Also, oversaw design and construction of projects and managed state and local redevelopment grant funding contracts and budgets, totaling over $2 million.
