Spotting a gap in parental understanding of child development, I founded the Comprehensive Learning Institute to help parents nurture their children’s strengths. This early work in fostering authenticity laid the foundation for my future impact.Entrepreneurship and SpeakingAs an entrepreneur, I broke new ground by founding the first Speaker Bureau for Black speakers. Witnessing many speakers struggling with clarity while investing in marketing prematurely, I developed the RAPIDS Speaking System, a method for refining the process to become a professional speaker. I love helping speakers find, craft and monetize their message and continue to help speakers build careers that make a real difference.The Power of AuthenticityMy passion for authenticity grew as I saw the gap between the joy of children in my preschool role, and the stress in adults I met through the speaker bureau.
