BIO:Norman Brewer grew up on the westside of Jacksonville in a neighborhood known as Whitehouse. He is an 11th Generation Floridian, and his family lineage goes back to the Sanchez family, who were original settlers in St Augustine, Florida.He graduated from Edward H. White High School, Florida Junior College, and Florida State University, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.After college, he was a police officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. He was the Valedictorian of Recruit Class 288. After serving for 15+ years, Norm retired as a Lieutenant in 2004. He became a pharmaceutical specialty sales representative for Abbott Labs, where he won many awards for Leadership and Sales. Always the entrepreneur, he started 615 Entertainment Group and worked with some of the largest acts in the music business, owned a successful tax preparation business, and a transportation business. These days, Norm is active in the roofing business, a credit card processing business, and estate auctions for celebrity clients. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Florida Equestrian Society, Architectural Review Committee for the Greenland Chase Community, Co-Chaired the opposition to the proposed Waste Transfer Station in Mandarin. He is a member of NARC (National Association of Retired Cops), Republican Executive Committee, Mandarin Republican Club.He and his wife, Margie, have been together for 21 years and are blessed with 3 successful sons, a daughter-in-law, and a new grandbaby. Of course, we can’t forget Memphis, their Pomeranian Shih tzu.
