- Retired from Michelin in April 2022 - open to full time, part time and contract work- Initially I spent 8 years on active duty serving in the United States Navy as a nuclear engineering submarine officer, achieving Naval Reactors Nuclear Engineer status, culminating in a position as the officer in charge of training the staff instructors at a nuclear prototype.- I joined Michelin Research at the Laurens Proving Grounds to conduct research analyzing the compatibility of vehicle ABS (anti-lock braking systems) with analytical characteristics of tires.- Michelin provided me with many opportunities, including managing technical engineering teams regarding handling performance, integrated tire/vehicle model simulation for handling, stability and wear, suspension analysis as well as tire design and product life cycle innovation and innovation for vehicle platforms that included passenger, light truck, motorcycles, and earth movers.
