I have spent the last 20 years working in the cable TV / ISP industry. I had worked in several markets for multiple MSOs as a contractor for 10 years. Then in early 2012 I accepted a position with Mediacom as an Installer in Waveland, MS. Later that same year I accepted a position as a Senior Field Technician with Cable One that was closer to my home. Since then I moved up to Business Field Technician. In late 2022 I started to have shoulder troubles and found out early in 2023 that field work was not in my future any longer. In early 2023 I accepted a position in the Technical Care Center for Hargray Communications (a Cable One company), which was a lateral move within the Cable One family of brands.During my tenure with Cable One, I have been involved in many special projects, including the merging of self help articles on the live, public facing web site during the transition of NewWave Communications to the Sparklight brand, which at the time had been recently purchased by Cable One. I have also taken advantage of the many learning and self development opportunities provided by the company. Many of these can be seen in the certifications section of my profile.
