Performed analysis of customer returned product including HeartMate II and 3 LVADs. Worked closely with Regulatory Affairs, Technical Service, Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, R&D and Quality Control to assure prompt attention and resolution to customer complaints. Recommended product improvement designs, inspection and manufacturing processes based upon evaluation of failure investigations. Additionally, participated on Complaint, Corrective Action and Project teams.

As part of the Sales and Marketing team at KLS I assisted the thoracic product team in improving existing and developing new thoracic surgical implants and tools. The implants are used for repairing and strengthening chest wall deformities and injuries. I worked closely with our customers, surgeons from around the country, by gathering input on surgical efficiency, benefit to patient, along with various device specific metrics. I attended various trade shows around the country to promote and grow the KLS product market into new hospitals and show support for our current markets.

Preparing necessary engineering, manufacturing, and quality documents and provide process support to various departments. Understanding of and being able to apply continuous improvement, cost reduction, 5S activities, and various government and industry specifications. Managing the Contract Review process and team to ensure all customer purchase order and part specifications are addressed and met in a timely manner.
