As a PSC Practice Leader I worked with Business Development and Marketing to promote my team and obtain new clients and projects. I also researched technology trends and guided my team towards opportunities in new technologies, often taking on a technical architect role to break new ground. The Enterprise Architecture group at PSC is focused on custom business solutions using open technologies such as Java, Python / Django, Grails / Groovy, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, node.js and AngularJS.As a Practice Leader I developed mobile solutions for PSC using Cordova / PhoneGap and Ionic. PSC Group has continued to advance our mobile offerings and is now a Xamarin partner. While in this role I held a leadership role in the Illinois Java User Group, which was often hosted at PSC's office in Schaumburg. I was also a board member for the Chicago Coding Conference and created the website for the conference in the second year.

Lead the development and support of a web based investment performance reporting / analysis application and multiple portal blocks used by corporate and institutional clients worldwide.Work closely with business partners to define requirements for new functionality and changes to existing functionality based on client needs.Manage projects.Guide a team of developers working on the application.Responsible for the overall application architecture.Lead architect and developer on the attribution models that are now the standard throughout the bank – models include Class Level Attribution, Fixed Income Attribution and Stock Level Attribution based on monthly or daily data depending on client service level.Led effort to design and develop a complex investment performance portal block running on the BroadVision portal platform – now used by internal and external users worldwide and used in sales presentations to drive new business.Utilize BEA WebLogic application server.Write code in Java / J2EE and utilize HTML, JavaScript, XML, and iText for PDF export functionality.Write and maintain Oracle and Sybase SQL Server stored procedures to support data requirements.Adhere to a well defined structured project methodology.
