 Developing the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs, reducing shrinkage and rationalising inventory Writing and maintaining accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions including all DC processes Team Development  KPI delivery in line with contract, and continuous improvement program to improve the stock intergrity. Managing and monitoring space utilisation in the distrubition centre Managing reverse logistics for the business in a timely manner Managing the sale or return (SOR) for the customer by arranging supplier returns Managing the raising and resolution of supplier delivery discrepancies using the DDMS (Delivery Discrepancy Management System). Working with the IT department to investigage and resolve system issues. Managing the intake of Beverages and Grocery delivery into the DC. Checking all stock when it is delivered to make sure that it is within its ‘use by’ date and there is enough time to enable it to be sold by this date Recording and Maintaining the Best Before Dates on the system Managing stock write off and disposal of out date stock  Managing all internal stock movements and stock write off Investigating and resolving Harvey Nichols store delivery discrepancies

• Lead a team of 12 warehouse operatives, 1 team co-coordinator and 2 administrators• Develop the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits and rationalising inventory.• Manage and maintain the company’s stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations • Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting / inventory• accuracy checks• Establish and continuously review departmental procedures.• Develop and report KPI (Key Performance Indicators) on a Daily / weekly basis.• Develop a good operational knowledge of Delivery Discrepancy Management System.• Ensure the working environment/working practices were compliant with company health and safety procedures and UK statutory regulations.• Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.• Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.• Managing all delivery discrepancies via the Delivery discrepancy Management System. (DDMS).• Handling and Organising all Supplier returns with the buying teams• Managing all store returns to the DC and inter-warehouse transfers.
