About Norman Stolzoff, Ph.D.

I am the principal at Ethnographic Insight, a research, training, and strategy firm specializing in CX & UX, ethnography, brand, consumer culture, innovation, and sustainability. This work has re-imagined how anthropology and ethnography could transform the way businesses understand and engage with their customers. With this vision in mind, I’ve built an experienced team of cultural anthropologists, design thinkers and UX researchers. I hold a B.A. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis in Cultural Anthropology. I am a critically acclaimed author of Wake the Town and Tell the People: Dancehall Culture in Jamaica and a keynote speaker at conferences, universities, bookstores, and on radio and has been featured in BusinessWeek.
