Career start in Management Accountancy/ Internal Audit followed by sideways move into early days of IT. Initial System Analyst roles in Manufacturing, Retail and Shipping followed by Senior IT Management positions in the Construction Industry from 1972 to 1994 followed by self-employed roles in Social Housing/ Construction 1994 to present.Have worked in both End-User and Vendor organisations, primarily in software design, development and implementation, and am recognised as a plain speaking, no nonsense, self-starter with excellent negotiation, communication and planning skills.
