    Lead developer and architect on the Data Streaming teamMember of Aria's architecture team that regularly evaluates and sets Aria's technical strategy.Primary work involved building the Akka / Kafka-based data streaming pipeline that streams data changes near real time for 60 or so complex object structures spanning financial transactions, invoicing, statement generation, account details, catalog offerings, pricing, usage, etc out to client systems as well as to third party systems (such as Salesforce). Designed and led the architectural switch-out of legacy systems to use a typed object json-based structure. These Streaming services are deployed to 10 production environments around the world and involve large multinational clients. Built out a second streaming pipeline for streaming snapshots of current data values. Added a snowflake integration to the streaming pipelines.Developed a downstream Java-based app that processes streamed data into a PostgreSQL datastore.Lead developer for Aria's cloud-based billing services "Next Gen" development effort. Effort involved building out Aria's core RESTful apis using Scala, Slick, Swagger, and SBT. 220+ Api's in total. In addition to implementing support for 5 Soap formats, I also introduced swagger-based JSON support.As a corporate champion for Code Quality, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Design, I led the effort to design and build out the unit test and integration test frameworks on Jenkins using Scalatest, Mockito, and scoverage. Code coverage for all my systems are above 80%.Introduced swagger-code-gen as a platform to enable REST clients generated in a multitude of languages. Introduced Redoc and swaggerUI as API documentation solutions. Roles in addition to coding include: architectural design and prototyping new technology, scrum master (certified CSM), lead engineer point of contact for client integrations, setup of Jenkins / Docker-based builds, consolidating / porting Git repositories.
