I am a founding member and Director of Africa Mercantile Group (AMG), a global business committed to revolutionizing the landscape of global trade, focusing on an immensely diversified portfolio of commodity trades across the globe. AMG offers expertise at the convergence of risk management, physical commodity trade, financial advisory services, consulting, and logistics.With extensive experience navigating highly regulated industries, I specialize in the nuances of trade in African markets within regulated industries. My passion lies in bridging the gap in international trade with a focus on Africa.In addition to AMG, I am a founding member and Director of Vanguard Precious Metals. I spearheaded the initiative to onboard gold mining ASMs into the LBMA GDL network by crafting and implementing a compliance framework and risk-mitigating standard operating procedure, ensuring comprehensive risk mitigation, trade transparency, and the highest levels of OECD and LBMA compliance on an enhanced due diligence level. I successfully secured structured trade and commodity finance from one of the largest diversified financial service providers in Africa, while simultaneously negotiating offtake agreements with a New York-based Fortune 500 company. I also led negotiations and contractual implementations of multiparty agreements to seamlessly integrate six stakeholders throughout the trade cycle.
