CurrentDon Norman is a member of Barack Ferrazzano’s Compensation and Employment practice group (he served as group chair from 2004 through 2019). He concentrates his practice on executive compensation and employee benefits. Mr. Norman offers the firm’s clients over 35 years of experience dealing with complex compensation matters. Mr. Norman represents entities, individuals and compensation committees in all stages of the employment process, from negotiating and drafting employment arrangements to structuring and negotiating separation settlements. Mr. Norman advises clients on the design and establishment of various types of compensation programs for directors and executives. In advising employers on compensation related matters, Mr. Norman’s practice includes protecting company interests with confidentiality and non-competition arrangements and other restrictive covenants. Mr. Norman has been a frequent speaker on issues of director and executive compensation laws, with a focus on the financial services industry.
