I am an experienced finance manager and chartered accountant with a proven track record in financial management, accounting, and reporting within international companies. My expertise lies in optimizing financial processes, implementing ERP systems, and leading teams to achieve higher efficiency and better results.Since January 2024, I have been working as a Finance Controller at Technogym Benelux, where I am responsible for financial administration and reporting within the Benelux region. This role has provided me with valuable experience in the Dutch audit and tax environment and has improved my Dutch language skills.Previously, I served as Chief Accountant and Finance Manager at Union Developments, where I led the financial operations for an international property development and investment company. In this role, I managed a team of 15 employees and was responsible for month-end closings, financial reporting (UK GAAP and IFRS), and implementing new ERP modules. I successfully completed various financing agreements and worked closely with legal and tax advisors.My professional career began as a Senior Auditor and Accountant at Basson & Wehmeyer in Johannesburg, where I led audit and accounting projects and advised clients on financial and tax matters.I then worked as an auditor at the National Audit Office and the Audit Commission in London, where I conducted statutory audits for the Department for Transport and other local government bodies. I have been a full member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) since 2009. I am fluent in English and Afrikaans, and have an intermediate level in Dutch (B2-C1). I am proficient in Excel VBA and SQL queries, and have experience with SAP and Hyperion at an intermediate user level.I aspire to leverage my skills and experience as a finance manager or finance director in the construction or property investment sector within the Randstad.
