In many ways, health is freedom. A healthy human being can develop their projects without depending on treatments, medications, or limitations imposed by diseases. Caring for health is investing in the future. My job is to shape health information. It is not only about symptoms, detection, and treatments; it is also about public policies, cost-effective health interventions, and small changes that deliver great results. How do I deliver that information? In an appealing, visual, synthetic, and powerful way. Supporting images and movement are indispensable to reach audiences that have changed their media consumption habits. Transmedia narratives have the ability to cross every social layer so that messages can reach their target. I have been devoted to strategic health communications for more than 20 years. I have worked both in public relations firms and in the media, and I currently run Deson, my own communications firm, together with Maximiliano Días. We provide advice and services to government agencies, pharmaceutical companies, chambers, and medical societies. Other specialization areas are those related to patient associations (NGOs), the third sector, and public welfare, philosophy, and education bodies.
