As a matter of fact I joined in 1991 Digital Equipment Corporation, which during my career got acquired in 1998 by Compaq which from its side got bought in 2002 by HP (career span of 23 years).As Account Delivery Executive I had the E2E responsibility for the service delivery to customers that outsourced their IT infrastructure management to HP's Enterprise Services. In this role I managed the internationally spread Account Support Teams (typically 15 people per customer) and cooperated closely with the Account Executive who has the overall accountability.I was responsible for customer contracts with a Total Contract Value of up to 7.5 million Euros.In the past 2 years I combined this function with the role of Quality Assurance Manager, in which I supported the entire group of Belux ADE's.I worked for companies like Cytec, Vlaams Parlement, Indexis and Lhoist.

In June 1998 Compaq International bought Digital Equipment Corporation. I continued performing my two roles1) Application Business Support Engineer on the DEC own developed banking application BCCS (Belgian Clearing and Communication System) used for clearing with the National Bank of Belgium. Almost all major Belgian banks used this application for their clearing of electronic transfers, domiciliations and cheques. 2) I worked onsite at customers (one assignment at Cera/KBC for 3 years) as system engineer on OpenVMS systems.
