Details:Strategic Projects undertaken- Commercial and Technical assessments of many SA JVs including SAMREF, SASREF, Luberef, MOTIVA, YASREF, SATORP and Petromin- Assessments for privatisation, divestment, acquisition or re-alignment of selected Hydrocarbon assets- Strategic advice to SA senior management about Downstream expansion in terms of both overseas Refineries and Product Branding- Board level advice for management and governance of JVs- Development of global High Quality Base Oils, and Finished Lubes, businesses of SASpecific Projects:- Design and Construction of Luberef Yanbu Refinery expansion ($1.4 Bn project)- Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel upgrade at SAMREF ($2.2 Bn project)- Working with Air Liquide and Bechtel to start installing Hydrogen grids in Jubail and Yanbu- Feed stock reviews for major Refineries including Ras Tanura, with Commercial and Technical assessments for new applications and de-bottlenecking- Technology selection for Refineries, in conjunction with Bechtel, CLG, UOP etc. - Post manufacturing adjustment of semi-finished Refinery products, using selected additives- Technical and Commercial Development of ADNOC range of finished Lubricants, Petromin range of approved Marine Lubricants and Bapco's range of BAPbase High Quality Group III Base Oils- Commissioning of third party test facilities e.g. South West Research Institute (SwRI), Intertek, Valvoline and OEM Test Labs including Porsche- PTA and Para-xylene manufacturing plant assessments- Health & Safety registrations of Hydrocarbon Products, for example under MARPOL and REACH
