Following a career in law, I sought and advanced in my Encore Career in the Nonprofit space - in Human Services at Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, as Director of YouthBuild, and then, as Director of Community Development and General Counsel; then as Director of Refugee Resettlement Services at Catholic Charities of SouthWestern Ohio; and then as Manager of Workforce Development Programs for PathWays PA, upon relocation to Philadelphia. I expanded my Encore career - bringing my unique skill set, developed through a varied array of professional and other life experiences, to bear in education ... providing positive value to the empowerment of young minority and at-risk students, serving as Chief Financial Officer & Director of Development and Marketing Director for a Foundation serving a high-achieving, cutting-edge urban K through 8 state Charter School.My volunteer portfolio expanded with my election to the Board of Directors and Trustees of the League of Women Voters of the Montclair (NJ) Area - serving 22 communities in and around Essex County.
