I coached a mid level manager for a period of 3 months and we worked on various goals to ensure that her leadership role was further defined and her skill set was enhanced. This involved focusing on leadership behaviors, time management, team management and goal setting, in addition to communication with team and supervisors. Additionally, we addressed areas including crucial conversations and discussed management of time and calendars to ensure goals were met. Within a 3 month period, she was promoted was able to move forward in her company. After our work together, she was promoted again and continues to excel in her role in the same company.

As an education administrator at Region One Education Service Center, I have served as a Coordinator of the Office of College, Career and Life Readiness within the Division of Instructional, School Improvement and College Readiness Support. Organizationally, there are four divisions; the division of Business.I have continued to build team capacity and sustainability of college and career readiness efforts through the Center for Excellence in College and Career Readiness, where my focus has been to provide as many relevant services as possible to the community we serve. I have and will continue to ensure that quality education services are provided to the districts we serve within the Region One area, which includes over 450,000 students. I have provided leadership in all areas of multiple multi-million dollar grants, which have included working extensively with evaluators, creating internal data systems and meeting with districts to ensure quality services and interventions were provided to the students we serve. I lead a team of excellent educators who provide leadership, support and guidance to the schools we serve in the Region One area.I have worked extensively in the areas of leadership, private/public partnership development, grant development, management and evaluation, strategic development, parent involvement, counseling, team leadership and program development.I have led efforts with media partnerships that include ABC Affiliate, Channel 5 News and Telemundo along with a live Spanish radio talk show. I continue to lead discussions with campus and district administrators, business partners, and other thought leaders who focus on creating systems that support all learners, especially students and families who are under served and underrepresented.

As an education specialist, I worked with a team to provide support, technical assistance and leadership within the grant to the 28 districts we served. I also provided leadership in the areas of counseling, parental involvement and data collection at the regional level. Through concerted efforts, two parents were recognized at the national and state level for their ongoing community service and support focused on college and career focused cultures. I ensured that all data collected was pertinent to the grant and that all grant objectives and indicators were measured appropriately. All of these efforts were always focused on providing the best opportunities to all students, especially those who have been underserved and underrepresented in the system.

Led coordination of data dashboard that included student demographics, assessment data and other pertinent data in order to better serve student needs.
