Managing all maintenance and engineering activities at the Lubambe Mine. Includes a 2.4MTPA crushing and concentrator circuit, 3 x Mine Hoists, mobile fleets, compressor systems, mine pumping systems and associated material handling assets. Also manage the operations of the underground material handling system and all of the site's civil projects.

The Lucky Friday Mine, Idaho Usa

Led the effective maintenance of all mine and concentrator assets. Included 3 x Mine Hoists, all mobile fleets, ventilation and mine cooling systems, conveying, crushing, water treatment, paste backfill, deep (almost 3km) mine dewatering systems, compressor systems and the crushing and concentrator assets. Also managed the procurement and warehouse functions and accountable for the development and delivery of new technologies targeting step change deep mining techniques and processing improvements.

Led a geographically spread team which was accountable for the Maintenance Planning, Reliability and Vessel crews across Oil Search's PNG operations which consists of 3 processing facilities, 1 refinery, 1 gas plant and an off shore load-out facility.The role was also accountable for the Shutdown / Turnaround Management Processes, the Tactics underlying the Key Shutdown Drivers, all Shutdown Planning, and had the Shutdown Coordinator(s) reporting into it.

Finalist in the Sam Walsh (Rio Tinto CEO) Innovations in Safety Award 2014.Ensured that specific 'mine of the future' technologies were built to specification, the chosen sites were ready to trial the technologies, and the trials conducted properly. This involved coaching and working concurrently with a number of OEM's, various technical groups, universities and site's in a range of locations globally.

Participated in the development, integration and ongoing refinement of a number of Rio Tinto's asset and maintenance management work streams. This included Work Management, the development of Rio Tinto's suite of Global Metrics, Defect Elimination, Hydrocarbon Management, Condition Monitoring, Shutdown Management and Maintenance Tactics Development.Led teams in the implementation of those asset & maintenance management processes across a number of business units and on a number of sites.
