I manage a personal sales team of four individuals and actively sell real estate on a day to day basis. I also share management responsibilities of the brokerage with long time brokerage owner, Daryl Miller. My responsibilities include general trouble shooting, hosting sales meeting, contributing market knowledge for the Royal LePage House Price Survey and serving as a mentor for new agents who are entering the business for the first time.

I began my real estate sales career with Remax Saskatoon as an assistant to my father who mentored me and helped me develop a solid foundation for my future business. I really enjoyed my time with this company and learned a lot about the real estate business. The opportunity given to me at Royal LePage provided additional challenges and opportunities which didn't exist for me at Remax.

I worked at Rawlco Radio as a sales person for C95FM in Saskatoon under the direction of sales manager Cliff Lesko. I give Cliff and Rawlco a lot of credit for helping me to learn that "selling" is not so much about closing the sale, as it is about discovering a good fit between your product and the client's needs. My primary responsibilities included helping clients prepare and implement advertising campaigns utilizing a mix of various media.

Grosvenor Fine Furniture was my first job after high school. I started there in the furniture warehouse where I worked for about six months until I was offered an opportunity to try my hand at sales. My boss at the time, Joe Butzelaar provided good support through training and taught me how to work with people in a retail environment. Colleagues, Bob Belanger, Terry Prevost and Randy Butzelaar provided additional mentorship and helped me develop some professional skills as a salesperson.
