Norm’s approach was to focus on the client’s needs, find data that supports why they need to change, and position his company as the solution to meet their needs. Norm’s leadership traits, creativity, and hands-on approach led the organization to a new level as he applied his talents to the society. The best example of this was how he shepherded the restatement of the PERCY awards for excellence in healthcare planning and marketing, and created approaches to add to the visibility of the award, and the society. Revenues increased under Norm. But more importantly, the society got closer. Norm facilitated this, through events like hosting a retreat at his Long Beach Island home in the summer.
