As the public address announcer and promotional voice of the Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club from 2009-2022, I had the pleasure of performing live for nearly 3 million fans. I have a solid, diverse work history in other performance capacities, including voice acting, creative writing and hosting artistic, charitable and commercial events. I also enjoy participating in spoken word and live theatre events, providing narrations, doing improvisational comedy, and performing live music.In addition, I serve my community as a 9-1-1 Emergency Dispatcher for 40-50 hours per week.I am the nesting partner of Amanda along with an expansive chosen family, and the parent of Alex, Genoa, and Ever. My family means everything. I am also queer; promoting open inclusiveness of LGBTQ+ people in hockey (and other traditionally exclusionary fields) is very important to me.Talent is in the eye (and ears!) of the beholder. The quality of my voice is less important to me than the voices and message of those who traditionally have not been heard. Above all else, I would like to be remembered as someone who is kind and professional, and who listens more than I speak.
