Brian is a public/private CPA and MBA who has spent the last 15 years in various Corporate Finance and Controllership roles at public and private companies. Brian currently serves as Transaction Advisor for GE Vernova in its Financial Services business. In this role, Brian provides guidance on technical accounting and structuring matters primarily for Renewable Energy and/or Thermal Energy deals. Prior to joining GE Vernova, Brian served as VP, Finance and Corporate Controller for ebbo, a PE-owned provider of customized loyalty programs and e-commerce solutions. Brian joined ebbo from The Providence Service Corporation, a $1.7B publicly-traded holding company that invests in providers of specialty healthcare services. In that role, Brian was primarily responsible for oversight of the SEC Reporting, Corporate Accounting and Technical Accounting functions. Earlier in his career, Brian worked as North Americal Controller and Project Manager at GE and the FASB, respectively. Given his broad-based work experience, Brian has developed deep technical expertise and operational proficiency across a range of industries and operating models. He stresses the importance of having efficient processes and effective controls in place to maximize profitability and ensure compliant and meaningful financial reporting.
