Norvin Landrum is unlike any graphic designer you’re likely to meet in this lifetime. As owner and operator of Global Empire Graphics, Landrum utilizes a mixture of corporate panache and skill, combined with an eye for design that has been honed after years of working in museums and teaching graphic arts that puts him firmly ahead of his industry competition. Landrum took the helm of Global Empire Graphics in January 2008, leading the company by not only taking on design and copywriting duties, but promoting, managing and securing client contracts. Under Landrum’s leadership, the graphic design firm has secured a strong foothold in a competitive market, expanding their resources to serve branding, identity, web design, illustration, creative concepts, advertising, event promotion, publication layout, product packaging and even fine art services for clients. Mr. Landrum first began polishing his design chops while working as an Exhibit Technician at The Whatcom Museum of History and Art. Landrum’s main job at the museum was installing art and history exhibits, and his keen design eye and attention to detail soon caught on with museum management, who quickly began assigning him to the most complex and thorough projects due to his natural design skill. The museum jumpstarted some of Landrum’s first professional graphic design projects, which became featured in promotional pieces for the Pacific Northwest Photographers NOW exhibit. While maintaining and installing art exhibits, Landrum was simultaneously earning his degree in graphic design from Western Washington University. Landrum’s ability to achieve a BA in Fine Art while maintaining a design related job helped prepare him for the time management crunch that usually occurs when running a business. While in college, Norvin Landrum participated in the Student Gallery Club, the Gold Key Honor Society, and was recognized for his graphic design accomplishments during the University’s Scholar’s Week.Specialties: Graphic Design
