 Responsible for the delivery of patient care in the Acute and the Inpatient Units by following the physical therapy treatment plan and communicating patient status changes as necessary. Responsible for providing physical therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care services to this population. Participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization. Function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program. Coordinate with other departments and the clinic staff to provide complete care to patients.

 Perform assigned therapeutic activities pre-determined by Registered Physical Therapists in one or more areas such as manual exercises; therapeutic exercises/activities, balance and gait training. Responsible for the delivery of patient’s treatment according to a plan of care. Document patient’s treatment daily. Responsible of the supervision of Physical Therapy Aides in the movement of patients and the maintenance of treatment areas and equipment

 Provide specialized therapy session in patient’s home.  Assist patient with gait training, balance training and therapeutic exercises.  Document patient’s treatment daily.

 Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; therapeutic exercises/activities, balance and gait training. Treat a variety of outpatients with modalities such as hot and cold pack, massage, exercise, US and electrotherapy. Document patient care services daily by charting in patient and department.
