Profile bio

About Alexis Notabartolo

I'm a creative thinker who understands on-the-ground production realities. With experience as a field researcher and producer, I have demonstrated experience in developing strategies for meeting people and projects where they are at and getting them where they need to be.I graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc (distinction) in Media and Communications and from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, with an honors degree in Political Studies. I spent an unreasonable amount of time traveling as an internationally competitive debater, spent several years as a federal lobbyist in Washington, D.C ., and was the Chief of Staff at youth development organization Young Storytellers for five incredible, transformative years. Prior to YS, I wrote for the WB animated series "Wabbit" and was part of the sketch ensemble on TruTV's "How to Be A Grownup." My academic writing has been published through a peer-review process and my writing for TV and film has gotten me into the top five percent of applicants to the Nicholl Fellowship and to the Second Round at the Austin Film Festival. In my spare time, I am either studying typography and fonts, talking about celebrated character actors, or trying to convince my spouse (a Napoli-trained pizzaolo) to expand the definition of "pizza".

Listed skills include Politics, Public Speaking, Research, Public Policy, and 33 others.
