Conducting independent research on citizen education, government reform and public opinion in the Republic of Georgia.

I was one of the inagural Admissions Fellows at Pitzer in 2006-2007, with duties commensurate to that of an Admissions Counselor. This included conducting interviews with prospective students, leading information sessions with prospective students and their parents and giving input into the overall “branding” and marketing efforts undertaken by the Office of Admissions. In previous years, duties included front desk work (answering phones, receiving packages and attending to prospective students, opening and processing mail), college application processing (filing, data entry, review) and guiding weekly tours of Pitzer College.

I was a Research Assistant to Claremont College professors Maya Federman and David Finegold. Assisted Prof. Federman on economic research relating to social stratification and immigrant movement throughout the U.S., requiring extensive computer-based data entry and computation and primary source investigation. Research with Prof. Finegold at the Keck Graduate Institute dealt with sectoral skills councils through out the world (specifically the UK, Canada and Australia) for a paper commissioned by the Republic of Korea. Continuing research in socially responsible businesses operating in international conflict zones (Nepal, Uganda, etc).
