Contractual management of Kent County Nonprofit Technical Assistance Fund, a funder collaborative formed to address the need for organizational and technical assistance among nonprofit organizations in Kent County. Administered $2.6 million in small capacity building grants to 400 nonprofits. Engaged from April 2009 to January 2019 to provide thought partnership, co-design and project management for private family foundation’s catalytic, place-based initiative to close the achievement gap in four under-resourced urban neighborhoods.

Developed curriculum and taught undergraduate grantwriting class in the Community Leadership program.

Developed curriculum and taught graduate course in nonprofit management practice for the School of Public and Nonprofit Administration.

Managed the Kent County Nonprofit Technical Assistance Fund. Worked to strengthen community partnerships to provide additional capacity-building resources to nonprofit organizations.

Managed the Individual Development Account program, providing financial management and credit repair assistance to low to moderate income families. Also provided educational workshops and trainings as a certified Homebuyer Education Counselor through the Michigan State Development Housing Authority.

Administered the Nonprofit Technical Assistance Fund as well as coordinated training workshops and seminars for nonprofit practitioners on topics including governance, financial management, fund development, leadership, marketing, and technology.

Assisted in the coordination of professional development seminars and workshops for nonprofit practitioners. Also a contributing researcher on various publications to inform the sector on emerging trends.
