Although I am not always an expert at the task at hand, I pride myself on willingness to lend a helping hand and dedication to my work, whatever the job. Eager to learn, I try not to discredit any opportunities to grow, whether it is directly connected to my future career or not. While I haven't entirely planned out my career path, I am currently studying Creative Media at the University of Alabama, with a minor in Creative Writing and Leadership Communication. At the present moment, video journalism or documentary filmmaking are fields I would like to hone my skills in, but life is fluid and my interests change by the day. Currently interning with the College of Human Environmental Sciences at the University of Alabama, I am getting experience in all corners of media production for the college. Writing has also become a larger part of my life, working as a contributing writer for the Crimson White newspaper's culture desk. As of Feb. 2022, I have also started DJing with the University's student radio, WVUA-FM The Capstone.Everyday life and the stories of people is what I tend to gravitate towards, both in a fictional sense and in real life. Hearing the wisdom, or even the opposite, of everyday characters is a valuable experience and something I find beautiful. As a person, I strive for treating everyone with respect, regardless of our differences, and hope to grow from learning more about them. Life is too short to hold onto grudges and remain vitriolic, so I believe it is important to learn and move on. Wherever I end up in life, these interests and values are something I will always hold close.
