I get a kick out of designing new media, user flows and ventures. I'm a versatile creator and enjoy engaging with tech while connecting deeply with people. My background is in fine art, design and technology. I study how humans interact with technology, architecture and the visual world. Seeing how we navigate the user experience journey is endlessly rewarding.I combine creativity with relational and technical insights. This leads to some wonderful outcomes. Designing interactions through smart processes is essential in our constantly changing world. Here’s is a bit more of my bio for you. I did my undergraduate studies in Fine Art and then proceeded to show my art worldwide. I exhibited with my artistic heroes of the past and present.Then I spent years in Start Up Land.After that, I did my Post Graduate work in Design and Development for Web and Mobile at the Dublin Institute of Technology. I received a Distinction for my work there.Some personal stuff now. Tech has been a passion since my childhood. As a kid, my friend's Dad would teach us about electronics and mechanics.His early influence led to my career working with business owners, filmmakers, artists and government bodies to create environmental, architectural and technological solutions. I take the initiative to add insight, creative and agile working method to every project I work on. Day to day I coordinate with different individuals on key projects. I engage in concept design, UI & UX, Digital Media Design and directing operations.I thrive in the catalytic spin of initiatives.I used to think that I should try to decrease my appetite for change. Now, I think the opposite. Being comfortable in the whirlwind is a great advantage. It fits you for constant flux. Being adaptable is essential for the wild new world that we all have been thrust into in 2020/ 2021. For all the difficulty that we have shared, I am seeing greater collaboration and commitment arise in many industries.Alongside working with as creative executive on a number of projects, I lecture in UX Design and Digital Marketing Design at one of Ireland's premier Institutes of Technology. I am passionate about giving the best of what I know to the next generation. Ireland's great asset is its young educated population. I see such depth of talent in Irelands creative and technology sectors.So, that's me! Leading the company to be a 1 of 12 finalists for The Irish Times ITLG Silicon Valley Global awards 2014. Previous finalists included Mark Little’s Storyful.com and Trustev. 2. Leading the company to market and to processing revenues within 1 week of starting up. 3. Secured and managed partnerships with blue-chip companies such as AXA and global brands such as LivingSocial. Negotiated and managed onsite promotions of brands such as FitBit, Frends, Harman Kardon, and Flux Furniture among others. 4. Created both written and visual communications to launch new brands into the Irish Market. I was responsible for the initial concept, assembling the founding team and running all facets of business. This included securing partners, developing user interfaces, managing accounts, generating ad copy, marketing and pitches for the landing pages, investors, brands and social media. I oversaw the running of numerous commercial experiments to determine the market and create real-time feedback in order to target product development. As technician I had responsibilities that included supervising and training new people in a specialist area surrounded by delicate and irreplaceable fine art. The technicians had responsibility both onsite and offsite for all the sourcing, provision and the assembly of all artworks, equipment and fittings. Our work also involved the monitoring and maintenance of the Collection in liaison with curators. We worked closely with artists, Office of Public Works officials and staff from all departments of the museum in fulfilment of our responsibilities. We were required to stay current on emerging technologies and multimedia trends.• I was regularly appointed as crew leader. • I reported directly to the Technical Supervisor and had responsibilities to manage the crew and ensure that all project deliverables were executed to the highest standards and within deadlines. This also included responsibilities to research, source and negotiate equipment and services for projects. • I worked closely with all stakeholders to achieve bespoke projects and design solutions that worked for the interests of the client, management and a listed Heritage site. • I had to liaise between stakeholders with a variety of agendas to sustain goodwill and maintain project momentum.
