Treehouse Talks is a place where individuals in the community come together to share ideas and causes they believe in. Since its inception thousands have been inspired by others. People not all that different than them are making a difference in their communities. Treehouse Talks has the unique opportunity to give everyone from every background an uninterrupted platform to show and tell. Not to mention that each event 100% led and organized by the young adults who also take part in the audience.As is always the case in the conception of an idea, concept, or movement, there will be growing pains. I saw that although they had fostered the in person experience so well, their online presence was caught lacking. In the year and a half prior to my coming on the team their social media accounts only consisted of live videos of events being reposted, a few sparse stories, and a small following of only 500. A belief I hold dear is that your audience should feel your “why” through the media you create. Therefore the Instagram account for Treehouse Talks needed a facelift, and I helped give it just that. Through consistent efforts and creative exploration, the online following has grown to 5 times that of the original amount only a few months ago.

We began posting often across multiple platforms becoming more and more relevant to our audience. We aimed to educate, entertain, and inspire artists around the world to share their story through simple prompts. We gave artists from every continent the opportunity to share what inspires them by taking over the account. Most recently we started a podcast to see Behind The Lines of the artists we were already familiar with, and ones we have yet to come to love.
