Kellie Powell is a playwright, a literature enthusiast, and a language nerd. She has written more than twenty plays, many of which are available for purchase from These Aren't My Shoes Productions (http://notmyshoes.net). She founded and currently maintains The Monologue Database, a resource for actors that she started in 1999. Powell also serves as the Community Engagement Manager for Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, New York. For several years, she was the Executive Production Director for La Petite Morgue, a theatre company devoted to horror and suspense, and curator of Fresh Blood, the company's monthly reading series for new horror plays.
