I am a graduate student at Northeastern University, looking for roles in the tech industry. As a computer science grad student, my interests right now lie in software engineering, A.I., and robotics. I am also interested in self-driving cars, VTOLs, and autonomous vehicles of all kinds. I am currently finishing my degree so as to be able to contribute to these fields as soon as possible.My background for the last decade has been in disparate fields. I have dabbled a little bit in accounting, business development, finance, and medicine. I have also had the pleasure of running my own business for a good number of years. Now, I am trying to earn another degree and learn new skills in the hopes of transitioning into tech.My research interests lie in the intersection of AI, neuroscience, and psychology.Questions I am interested in:1. Can an artificially created intelligence achieve consciousness or even sentience?2. How soon are we from achieving General Artificial Intelligence?3. What are the ethical considerations regarding autonomous robotic work?4. What forms could artificial life take (aside from humanoid) that would be of benefit to humanity?5. What safeguards can we have when dealing with super intelligent A.I.?6. Is cybernetic enhancement the only way for human beings to keep up with machines, especially during/after the singularity?I also want to marry my passion for automobiles (cars, VTOLs, drones) and robotics with my career if possible. I want to help pioneer a new age of automation in the space of transportation, healthcare, and various services through AI.
