Demos Helsinki is an independent Finnish think tank. I worked on the organisation’s impact model and future narrative as well as on future scenarios for European democracies up to 2040 (based on expert interviews, stakeholder interaction, and academic research). I was further involved in organizing a talk on the future of democracy, including corresponding with guests, and organizing external communication.I further participated in the UNTITLED alliance, where 45 organisations working on societal transformations (ranging from tech companies to artists’ collaboratives to research institutes) exchange ideas and co-create approaches to build inclusive, sustainable and joyful futures. My main responsibility here was communicating with alliance members, collecting ideas and producing whitepapers and blogs. I was further responsible for external communications and guest correspondence for the UNTITLED festival (Researching guests, communicating with them, producing briefings, and providing external communications, including event descriptions).

The Political Economy Review (PER) is a King's College London student-led publication focused on providing unbiased political and socio-economic analyses of relevant societal phenomena and current affairs. The PER was created in response to a lack of high-quality student publications focusing on politics in London, and as a nuanced counter to the continued deterioration of the level of political debate in the public sphere. With the PER we also aim to constructively contribute to the public debate by bridging different viewpoints and promoting cooperation and conflict-resolution.

I worked with Dr. Elisa Cavatorta to develop a perspective-taking training for Palestinian high schools, in cooperation with the Palestinian Ministry of Education.My main roles have included data analysis and data mining (using the STATA programme), and quantitative data collection and review (i.e. literature review for the project). Further, I have been working as a translator translating documents from Arabic to English for analysis.

DebateMate is a charitable organization aiming to teach underprivileged teenagers important life skills such as teamwork and cooperation through the process of debate.My role included tutoring a 20-person debate club of teenagers aged 13-15 from a South London middle school on a weekly basis for the first semester of the 2018/19 academic year.
