The site was strategically interesting nestling the project in the heart of a high-end residential neighborhood. The triangular site, flanked by two main streets along a delicate corner, called for a public piazza, serving the neighborhood and adding to the ethos of the project's brief. • Worked on diverse project proposals, from numerous volumetric studies, zoning plans, preliminary drawings and renders, reaching the accurate occupation and translation from concept to final design decisions.• Travelled for site visits and general surveying of the landscape and site conditions.• Took part in client meetings and setting delivery schedules.• Scheduled weekly meetings with a local Japanese colleague with thorough expertise in Japanese construction rules and regulations for design related reviews and decision making.• Worked on a series of high-end villas' project set in Niseko from site occupation, mass plan design and feasibility on a challenging mountainous landscape.
