The Rutgers Economics Society (or RECONS) is a professional, student-run organization focused on helping students explore and prepare for diverse career paths through a wide range of events, including:• Skill-Building Workshops• Career Panels• Firm Recruiting Events• Competitions• Information Sessions• NYC TripsAs President, my responsibilities included preparing and organizing for events, advertising events to the Rutgers student body, devising future strategies for the organization, and reaching out to Rutgers faculty and students to participate in events.As a general member, I competed in a number of the competitions hosted and co-sponsored by the organization.

• At the 2015 Rutgers University Model United Nations Conference, I served as Assistant Director in the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Committee, whose agenda was as follows: A) Regional Integration of Asia and the Pacific, and B) South China Sea Dispute. • At the 2016 Philadelphia Model United Nations Conference, I served as Assistant Director in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Advanced Committee), whose main topic on the agenda was Advancing the Interests of the SCO through the Lens of Counter-terrorism.• At the 2016 Rutgers Model Congress Conference, I served as a member of the Conference Logistics and Administration group.• At the 2016 Rutgers Model United Nations Conference, I served as Director in the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), whose agenda was as follows: A) Combating International Terrorism and B) Dissolving the Crisis in the Ukraine.• At the 2017 Philadelphia Model United Nations Conference, I served as Director in the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), whose agenda was as follows: A) Urban Planning and Sustainable Development and B) Infrastructure Development in Conflict Zones.• At the 2017 Rutgers Model Congress Conference, I served as Director of the United States Supreme Court, whose agenda was as follows: A) Shelby County v. Holder and B) United States v. Texas.

The Association is also responsible for competing as a team on the Model United Nations collegiate circuit. Student Peacemakers is a brand new organization based in Rutgers University with the intention of bringing about tangible change in unorthodox and innovative ways. The mission statement of Student Peacemakers is, "Committed to promoting a culture of peace and inclusivity." The organization’s primary purpose is to empower students by providing a forum from which to discuss, formulate, and write about global peace promotion.As Director of Outreach, my tasks lied in:• Preparation of Peacemakers events on campus - including the Peace Summit and Forum for Dialogue events.• Maintaining the Peacemakers' Facebook page - responding to student's questions and updating the page with information about upcoming events.

The Rutgers University Arab Cultural Club is an organization committed to providing an on-campus medium to promote the social health of the Arab community at Rutgers University, as well as to promote awareness about Arab culture and heritage to combat negative portrayals of American Americans in Western media. As Public Relations Chair of the Arab Cultural Club, my mission was to ensure that all organization events reach their maximum audience and ensures a positive experience for all members. As such, my tasks were as follows:• Be in charge of creating all Facebook event pages• Be in charge of the Arab Student Body Facebook page• Reach out to all media possible, on and off campus, and work with them on projects that get the Arab Student Body's name out to as many people possible and promote all of our events• Be in charge of the Arab Student Body's Twitter• Reach out to other student organizations and ask for co-sponsorship of our and their events• Networking with community
