Lead the management of ‘Expanding Access to Knowledge and Resources’ piloting the establishment of a business hub as a venture within an established market actor CSO/private actor with scale-up learning and recommendations. A project funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Management of five interventions addressing barriers to women’s economic inclusion in Jordan under the project ‘Arab Women’s Enterprise Fund’ (AWEF) funded by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID). A five-year £20 million project focused on market system change and women’s economic empowerment in Egypt, Jordan, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (the OPTs).Interventions that focused on:1) Licensing HBBs; Advocating for home-based business licensing & registration policy reformation and development of internal licensing guidelines. 2) Facilitating business development services; Establishing 14 Women Economic Empowerment Units 'WEE Units' under governmental entities to enable the environment for micro/small business development services, which facilitated capacity and skill set building of more than 100,000+ women in business management, business growth, and technical and soft skills 3) Develop more than +2000 market linkages between local women businesses and the private sector 4) Enabling financial inclusion by building the first women agent network with leading JoMoPay service providers and expanding access to finance and financial literacy 5) Piloting flexible work arrangements with lead service firms allowing extended and better work opportunities for women

• Support Ferring Leadership Team exceed company goals through running impactful initiatives across the organization. • Help the management team at the region and market level come up with the business growth drivers, prioritize and successfully address them • Develop tool(s) to assess business performance along key metrics and embed them into the management dialogue • Develop a deep understanding of the challenges and the opportunities arising from doing business across geographies. • Provide the templates and coordinate the timelines for the annual planning cycle. Support the preparation of the business plan, budget and business review presentations. Compile information for the business plan and lead in the preparation of the final business plan narrative. • Assess areas of improvement at regional and local levels, and aid in finding the right digital solutions.• Support Ferring Going Digital function in the rollout of the global initiatives and tools across local markets. • Define KPIs, measurement tools and reporting for area and local levels. • Track implementation of initiatives and provide regular management updates (e.g. monthly/quarterly) • Act as a means to co-ordinate and communicate across divisions, functions and geographies • Act as a ‘link’ between local entities and the Global Ethics Office and to assist local management with the implementation of the company’s ethics strategy.
