Founded and coached a student-led humanitarian innovation platform at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar that brings together students, educators, and industry professionals to build Software that Saves Lives. Successfully organized and rallied sponsors for LifeLines Hackathon ’24 where 130 students competed across three major themes: Crisis Management, Health & Education, Media & Awareness.

Supported teaching professors in running courses; ‘Software Engineering’, ‘Great Ideas in Comp Bio’. Helped students understand concepts of the software development cycle as well as algorithms for sequencing, aligning and analyzing genomes. Conducted Office Hours. QSIURP: ‘Identification of Gene Signatures in TNBC Cells Using xNNs’| Summer 2021Built & trained a diagnostic neural network (ResNet-18) using data from TNBC patients. Used several methods to identify the gene signatures, by extracting derivatives, analyzing ReLu Activations and applying Attention models.

Supported teaching professors (Bhiksha Raj & Rita Singh) in running the course in Pittsburgh with over 300 enrolled students. Helped students understand concepts of Neural Networks, and assisted in grading lab assignments. Conducted Office Hours. Created homeworks, designed writeups & set up autograders.
