Growing up, I was always curious about what made people tick? What drives certain behaviors, how does one’s personality develop, and general interaction between people. While pursuing my degree, I stumbled upon my career by accident. During a volunteer internship, I had the opportunity to work with children with behavior and learning disabilities. It was there, my eyes and heart were opened to children who are not developing at the same rate as their same age peers.I am currently working as a Registered Behavior Therapist. Supporting BCBA’s I implement customized ABA programs for children diagnosed with Autism. As I began my journey to become a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, working 1 on 1 with children to develop lifelong skills, my passion and personal life collided when my 4 year old cousin was diagnosed with Autism. Working as a behavior therapist has strengthened my collaboration skills and provided valuable guidance for not only my clients but for my family.I am passionate about improving the life of young children with learning and behavior disabilities and I am currently in pursuit of my Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
