I am someone who likes to get her hands dirty on the ground so from pulling freezing babies out of dingy boats in Lesvos whilst doing boat rescues to working in official and unofficial camps I did it all.DutiesSupporting and supervising the head of staff and acting as a channel of communication between board and staff as a figurehead for the charity (representing it at functions, meetings or in the press).Engaged with local to mainstream media such as BBC, Look North, ITV, Dewsbury Reporter and The Press. Developed partnerships with a number of international charities in Pakistan, Greece, Palestine and Israel.Designed and led the execution of a number of Social media marketing campaigns which generated extra funding and exceeded the required targets.
