Duties and Responsibilities.• Ensures that inventory records of Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, Finished Goods and Work in Process are in accord with physical count.• Leads in the quarterly and annual physical count of inventories located at AMIS-P and at subcontractors plants.• Performs monthly reconciliation of AMIS-P inventory records vs. subcontractors’ inventory reports. • Ensures that appropriate inventory control checkpoints are put in place and in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines.• Establishes cost standard norms for key operational processes to provide basis for cost analysis which are relevant for management decisions. (Annually)• Provides responses to all cost-related inquiries to ensure conformity to standards. (Daily)• Provides costing of scrapped/disposed products, controls the numbering of Authorization to Dispose documents, maintains the file, and prepares on a monthly basis an analysis of scrap disposal and cost of failure (Monthly).• Prepares journal entries for cost allocations.• Serves as the focal contact person for all SarbOx related inquiries on the area of Finance.• Acts as the deputy of the Staff Accountant ensuring continued compliance to SarbOx guidelines and unhampered delivery of accounting services. • Ensure US GAAP compliant, accurate, comprehensible processing and timely completion of financial reports for AMIS Asian Entities to provide corporate management inputs for the consolidation.• Ensure that all statutory requirements of AMIS Asian Entities will be fully complied with to avoid penalty.• Ensure that accurate cash requests for AMIS Asian entities will be sent timely to avoid cash shortage which could lead to disruption of operations. • Ensure that all closing tasks assignment of the sub-group will be performed and completed within the required schedule. • Prepares bank reconciliation every month.• Other jobs that may assign by Accounting Manager.
