Currently pursuing their MA in Arts Administration from Akron University. They hope to work locally to support the Arts in NE Ohio. Passionate about advocacy for Arts Education and Equity for all in access to art resources and training. Working towards community building and mutual aid projects.Nova graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2020 with a BFA in Illustration with additional concentrations in Art Education, Creative Writing, Design, and Art History. During their time at the Cleveland Institute of Art, they won awards for their art portfolio.As an individual artist, they're always pursuing learning new crafts, mediums, and skills. Nova has shown work in local galleries and participated in numerous art markets and festivals through their small business Illustration and Design brand Star Catcher Studio & Store. Inspired by nature and magic, their art is full of life, color, and whimsy. They hope to fill their portfolio with items that promote joy and mindfulness and explore storytelling. Professionally, they have worked in Kid Lit, Product Design, and other illustrative projects. They have collaborated with BratBox, American Greetings, and the Cleveland Severance Music Hall.
